Schechter, recently prevailed in a Ninth Circuit ERISA attorney fees case [Micha v. Sun Life Assur. of Can. Inc., 874 F.3d 1052]. Mr. Schechter's practice focuses on employee benefits law, employee stock ownership plans, pension, profit sharing and 401(k) plans, ERISA litigation, ERISA fiduciary liability, business law, and qualified domestic relations orders (QDROs). Mr. Schechter is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern, Central, and Northern Districts of California; the United States Tax Court; and the Ninth Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals.
